This 1- day intensive workshop in a small-group setting offers a hands-on learning experience in working on white background or white setups. The workshop will teach you technical and practical skills to create images of perfect white.

Tuition is 260 EUR

Deposit: 100 Euro is required to enrol, the remaining balance is to be on the day of the workshop. The final payment will be invoiced.

LIGHTING:

 

Gabriela will work with both studio lighting as well as daylight

• DSLR camera

• Participants must be comfortable using their camera in manual mode

• Your favourite lens: 24-70 mm, 35 mm, 50 mm

• Memory cards, camera charger

• Notepad and pen

• Laptop not required but you can have it with you

 

COURSE DETAILS:

The White Workshop is recommended to all professional photographers who wish to learn how to obtain the perfect white in their images regardless of the type of light available (natural light/ Studio light). It is a one day workshop where we will work with 2 models, through different lighting setups, in order to obtain High Key or Backlighting images of perfect white. 

​

During this intimate and connective workshop, you will learn how to see the light and use simple studio set ups to create stunning images. Additionally, you will gain the skills needed to maximize each set up with different angles and poses to achieve a variety of images your clients will love. This workshop promises to be an interactive one. Gabriela is very accessible and happy to answer any questions you may have. You will also have the chance to shoot alongside Gabriela and apply the concepts learned throughout the course. You will leave that day with not only newly acquired techniques, but also creative new images for your portfolio. The afternoon will start with Gabriela's editing workflow. This  workshop is not just the ultimate learning experience, it’s a great way to network and be around other like-minded creatives who love photographing on white.

• Client preparation and studio wardrobe

• Gabriela's favourite studio equipment and go-to set-ups

• Practical Theory (Understanding light and White Balance

• Setting Custom White Balance in camera and obtaining beautiful images SOOC

• Practical part with models

• How to create a variety of stunning images by using a different light ups with 1,2,3 lights available, for High Key and Backlighting

• posing

• Editing Workflow (LR Presets, PS Actions which you can personalize; how to obtain white without overexposing or loosing skin details).

The workshop is limited to maximum 10 people.

IMAGE USAGE: 

All images taken can be used in your portfolio (website and online). Images must not be submitted to magazines, exhibitions or competitions without permission. Images must not be used to advertise photo shoots, workshops or products. Please read our complete TERMS AND CONDITIONS.
